My first painting love was painting furniture and furnishings. It started with painting an old, rusted metal cat found in my yard. I think it was a grave marker for a house cat, but I can’t be sure. I painted her and named her “Star.” She comes in the house every winter and goes out again by the garage door every summer. I love Star. Then, I went on to paint stools (the first for a dear friend who died) and benches and the like. Take a look! I will come back to furniture painting one day as I love color!
